What's Happening in November
In November, Marylebone welcomes you to a very Christmassy atmosphere, with Christmas events including the Merry Marylebone lights switch-on, late-night shopping, and plenty of fun festive activities. Plus, London lights up (quite literally) with festivities galore to bring the Christmas spirit alive.
Merry Marylebone
The Merry Marylebone Christmas Lights Switch-On transforms Marylebone Village into a sparkling winter wonderland. On 12 November 2025, the high street will be pedestrianised for an evening of live music, school choirs, market stalls, and festive workshops — all culminating in the big moment at 6pm, the lights will switch on to illuminate the entire village. The event, hosted by BBC broadcaster and Marylebone local Jo Good on the Devonshire Street stage, supports the Marylebone Project, with fun activities for all — from Santa’s Grotto and a Ferris wheel to wreath-making and late-night shopping.
Jorum Studio at Marylebone Village
Jorum Studio has opened its first London store in Marylebone Village, occupying a chic two-storey flagship at 2 Marylebone Street. This Scottish luxury fragrance house, founded by master perfumer Euan McCall and creative director Chloë Mullen, brings its full scent collection — plus exclusive candles and limited editions — into a beautifully designed, immersive retail space. The store is built to reflect the brand’s ethos of “modern Scottish luxury,” offering sensory storytelling, curated experiences, and bespoke consultations, all rooted in sustainable production and high-quality natural ingredients.

Soeur London Flagship
Parisian label Soeur has officially opened its new London flagship on Marylebone High Street. Spread across two beautifully designed floors, this Marylebone site offers the most comprehensive Soeur assortment outside France — from ready-to-wear and leather goods to footwear, jewellery and eyewear — and even provides in-store alteration and repair services.

LEGO Chalet of Play, Covent Garden
The LEGO Chalet of Play in Covent Garden is a magical, free-to-enter festive pop-up running from 8th to 30th November 2025, set in the East Piazza. It’s designed like a winter Christmas market but with a LEGO twist: you can try your hand at the “Tinsel Toss” fairground game, go on Minecraft-inspired missions in the LEGO Minecraft Zone, and take part in a “Build to Give” area where you build a LEGO heart — for every heart made, LEGO donates a set to a child in need. Visitors are also invited to decorate the “Creativi-Tree” with their own LEGO creations, and there are giant LEGO builds of Santa and Rudolph for festive photo ops. The chalet captures the spirit of the season through hands-on play, community giving, and iconic brick-built holiday fun.

Frameless Lates
Every Friday and Saturday evening, FRAMELESS—London’s cutting-edge immersive art venue located at Marble Arch, just a short walk from The Mandeville Hotel —is transformed into a grown-up late-night experience. During these Lates sessions, entry is restricted to 18+, and visitors can wander through the four multi-sensory galleries, drinking cocktails, wine or beer from the Café Bar, all while being soundtracked by Soho Radio’s curated playlist. It’s a relaxed yet atmospheric way to enjoy digital art after dark, making it perfect for a unique date night or a cultural night out with friends.

French Film Festival
The French Film Festival London, held at Ciné Lumière in the Institut Français, runs from 12–23 November 2025 and brings together a rich and diverse slate of French and francophone cinema. Its 33rd edition features 33 titles across 76 screenings, including UK premieres, award-winning documentaries, animated films, and restored classics, opening with the UK premiere of The Great Arch (L’Inconnu de la grande arche), directed by Stéphane Demoustier, followed by Q&As with key filmmakers, giving audiences a rare chance to connect with the creative voices behind the films.
Ever After Garden
The Ever After Garden is a deeply moving winter installation in London that turns over 30,000 illuminated white roses into a garden of remembrance — each rose carries a personalised dedication to a loved one, and all proceeds go to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Originally conceived by designer Anya Hindmarch and writer Camilla Morton in memory of their friend Michael Howells, the garden offers a tranquil, reflective space in the heart of the city. From 13 November to 16 December 2025, the installation will be held at Duke of York Square in Chelsea, where visitors can walk through the softly glowing field of roses between 3pm and 9pm.

Southbank Christmas Market
The Southbank Centre Winter Market, nestled along the Queen’s Walk beside the Thames under Hungerford Bridge, is one of London’s most magical festive experiences. From 3 November to 4 January, charming alpine-style chalets line the riverside, offering a delicious mix of street food—from duck wraps and Himalayan dumplings to churros and Dutch pancakes—alongside pop-up bars serving mulled wine, hot cider, and other warming winter drinks. Independent craft traders fill the stalls with handmade gifts, jewellery, decorations, and fashion curated by the SoLo Craft Fair, making gift hunting a joyful stroll. With twinkling lights, cosy corners, riverside views, and a festive buzz, the market is the perfect place to soak up Christmas spirit while taking in one of London’s most iconic waterfronts.
