What's Happening in March
With spring in bloom, park walks to see the cherry blossoms, endless restaurant openings, and a series of cultural happenings, March in London is brimming with activities to expand your culinary endeavours and creative mind.
1. Daunt Books
Throughout March, Marylebone institution Daunt Books is hosting a series of 'in conversation with' events including conversation between food writers Olia Hercules and Alissa Timoshkina who will discuss and celebrate the culture and food of Ukraine as part of the #CookForUkraine initiative. 2023 marks the one year anniversary of the war in Ukraine, so this is a great one to support.

2. Sylvia
Originally commissioned as a dance show, ‘Sylvia’ was reconceived as a full-blown musical and its initial 2018 run at the Old Vic was declared to be a work-in-progress. Its 2023 run – with Beverley Knight returning to star – will be its official 'world premiere’. The 2018 run was a potted – albeit lengthy – history of the suffragette movement: frequently enthralling, and sometimes actively exhilarating with a tremendous feel-good factor.
Until 8 April 2023
3. Affordable Art Fair
Art doesn't have to be expensive. Head along to The Affordable Art Fair where you can explore a broad range of painting, photography, sculpture and prints from over 100 local and international galleries, and even buy more affordable artwork priced between £50 and £7,500. This year includes an exhibition celebrating female artists to mark International Women’s Day and curated edits of the best art under £500.
