What's Happening in June

Summer is in full swing. We want to make it the greatest month of your year. Music is really at the forefront this month, but here are our recommendations of the best art exhibitions, plays and general shindigs taking place in June 2025 in London.

Serpentine Pavilion
The 2025 Serpentine Pavilion has unveiled in Kensington Gardens, designed by architect Marina Tabassum. It is taking the form of a curving, lozenge-like structure remaining in situ throughout the summer. Plus, for families, British architect Peter Cook has collaborated with Danish toymaker Lego to create the domed Play Pavilion for children, clad with colourful protrusions formed of Lego bricks.

Evita The Musical
Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Evita is a sweeping political musical filled with power, passion, and unforgettable songs, returning to the West End in a bold new production by Jamie Lloyd at the London Palladium. Audiences will be, once again, drawn into the world of Eva Perón and the figures who shaped her meteoric rise. It's definitely time to catch one of musical theatre’s most compelling stories.
Playing for a limited 12-week engagement until Saturday 6th September 2025.

Summer Jazz Series
International jazz superstars take to the stage at Barbican throughout June and July for the Summer Jazz Series. American pianist Tigran Hamasyan and the Brad Mehldau Trio perform, finishing with a three-night residency by Herbie Hancock, 51 years after his first London show. 16 June-26 July

West End Live
Musical theatre fans, get ready for outdoor dancing and sing-a-longs with some of the West End's biggest stars with West End Live. It's the initiative that opens up some of London's best productions, for all to see (complimentary). Each year, casts of some of London's best West End musicals emerge blinking into the open-air for a weekend of free alfresco performances in Trafalgar Square, accompanied by fun photo ops, merch stalls, and bags of showbiz atmosphere.

Plus there are kitchen masterclasses, chef talks and tastings to get involved with.
