Maintenance Assistant 
Strategically located in near proximity to the shopping meccas of Bond Street, Oxford Street and Marylebone Village, the 4* Deluxe Mandeville Hotel (a Preferred Hotel), is now seeking talents to join our dynamic Maintenance Team.

Required:
- Good communications and technical skills to ensure that any projects are prepared and implemented efficiently with health and safety at the foremost of all work activities.
- Always reporting to the Assistant Maintenance Manager and working closely with him on required projects.
- A good knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Flexible and adaptable to working environment
- Current working knowledge of general maintenance and engineering work
- A passion for delivering great customer service
- Ability to work without close supervision and within established time frames
- Experience in the Maintenance Department of a large hotel, hospital, or restaurant complex or similar
- Keep your technical training knowledge and skills up to date
 
As the hotel engineer you will undertake various tasks as indicated:
- Perform day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance within the hotel rooms
- Respond promptly and efficiently to any maintenance calls that arise
- Execute the preventative maintenance schedule and ensure all equipment and designated areas are maintained to the required standard
- Recommend maintenance system improvements and energy savings
- Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in good condition

Waiting Staff
Strategically located in near proximity to the shopping meccas of Bond Street, Oxford Street and Marylebone Village, the 4 star Mandeville Hotel (a Preferred Hotel) is now seeking talents to join our vibrant Food and Beverage Team.

The successful candidate would be required to:

- Greet guests at the table promptly after their arrival and inform them of specials and promotional menu.
- Take food and beverage order from the guests and relay it to the kitchen staff and bartender as appropriate.
- Process orders in a timely manner, whilst verifying that all items are prepared according to guest requests.
- Ensure guest satisfaction with regards to the food and service and to respond to any additional requests and to determine when the course/meal has been completed.
- Ensure that payment procedures are carried out according to the outlet standards.
- Set up the table according to the outlet standards and reset the table after the meal.
- Keep abreast of food and beverage promotions, new menu items, daily specials and other information relevant to the outlet guests.

Head Bartender

The ideal candidate should have-
 
- Previous experience in a similar capacity
- Knowledge of bar operation, service quality and efficiency, product knowledge, inventory control
- Be outgoing and have a charming personality
- Be Creative in cocktail mixtures and beverage preparation
- Excellent Micros skills
- Good communication skills

Receptionist
Strategically located in near proximity to the shopping meccas of Bond Street, Oxford Street and Marylebone Village, the 4* Deluxe Mandeville Hotel (a Preferred Hotel), is now seeking talents to join our vibrant Reception Team.
 
As a Receptionist you will be responsible for:
 
- Making guests feel more important than the computer, with immediate and direct eye contact. A receptionist’s manner is personal, engaging, and efficient.
- Offering not a vague "How are you?," but a hospitable greeting: "Welcome/Good evening/So nice to have you here/It's a pleasure".
- Checking guests in and out, escorting them to their rooms and ensuring exact compliance with registration and departure procedures and completing all necessary paper work.
 
- Building rapport with each individual guest, in order to create memorable experiences for all our guests
- Handling cash, foreign currency exchange and cashier duties.
- Complying with all instructions, systems and procedures laid down by the Front Office Manager and all company policies.
- Switchboard duties.
- Successful candidates are expected work shifts including nights, weekends and/or Bank Holidays. You should be able to thrive under pressure and consistently reach high standards. As part of your daily tasks you will also be required to answer the telephone (internal/external calls) and take reservations and ensure that all instructions are carried out and processed accordingly.

Night Receptionist
Strategically located in near proximity to the shopping meccas of Bond Street, Oxford Street and Marylebone Village, the 4* Deluxe Mandeville Hotel (a Preferred Hotel), is now seeking talents to join our vibrant Reception Team.
 
As a Night Receptionist you will be responsible for:
 
- Dealing with guests in a courteous manner at all times.
- Registering guests on arrival, ensuring exact compliance with registration and departure procedures and completing off related documentation.
- Maintaining night portering duties .
- Having a thorough knowledge of hotel facilities, selling procedures and special events or promotions and an awareness of room availability at all times.
- Using direct guest contact opportunities to promote in-house sales e.g. restaurant dinner bookings.
- Being knowledgeable of various methods of payments, credit cards, vouchers and ledger accounts with correct billing procedures.
- Ensuring Health, Safety and Hygiene procedures are maintained to company standards and legal requirements. In addition complying with the Accident Reporting procedures of the hotel.
- Taking an active role regarding Fire Safety of the hotel.
- Ensuring that public areas, guest areas and work areas are kept clean and tidy to the required standards. Issues which can not be resolved by yourself need to be reported promptly to the appropriate department.
- Monitor and report anything/anyone suspicious or dangerous and to act accordingly.
- Encouraging that the highest standards of customer service are adhered to and remedy anything that inhibits excellent service.
- Reporting all feedback from guests or other departments to the AM supervisor or Front Office Management, particularly in the case of a guest complaint.
- Maintaining a professional presence in the hotel lobby and assist patrons with luggage, give directions, answer queries and give assistance to guests.
- Running the night audit, during the Night Auditor’s absence.
- Performing extra duties during the night, this will result in a smooth night operation.
- Handling guest’s mail, messages, packages and newspapers accurately and accordingly.
- Having knowledge of the local area and surrounding attractions, local shops and important public buildings like the police station etc.
- Complying with all systems and procedures laid down by the Front Office Manager and all company policies

Luggage Porter

Responsibilities also involve performing tasks as delegated by the Concierge including making transportation arrangements for our guests.
