London Fashion Week, Part 2, Get involved!



Held from 25th - 28th February at The Saatchi Gallery and open to the public, this 4 day event is a celebration of all things fashion with an array of catwalk shows, designer stalls and more. The catwalk shows will showcase the best and biggest trends to follow and there will even be opportunities to see brand new re-worked shows from top designers like Emilia WicksteadMary KatrantzouTemperley London and Holly Fulton with an insider's perspective on the fashion industry as well. And the shopping will help you to put this inspiration into action, as the weekend will hold the best in discounted, carefully curated pieces of the most fashionable trends from both big name designers and rising stars alike. 

If you're a fan of fresh fashion talent, we'd recommend catching the British Fashion Council's annual International Fashion Showcase, held from the 17th to the 23rd February. This impressive show showcases the best work of the most innovative new designers from 24 different countries across the world. It's being held in beautiful Somerset House and this year's theme is Utopia, so it'd set to be a fascinating event. Or if well-known and established fashion is more your thing, you'll enjoy the free exhibition by London designer Victoria Grant at the Hotel Café Royal in Regent Street. This fascinating exhibition runs from 17th February, opening in celebration of London Fashion Week until the beginning of March and shows the favourite works of the illustrious woman, whose clients include Lady GagaBeyoncéDita Von Teese and Cara Delevingne. Ohh, and it's absolutely free! And because London Fashion Week is not just a single week for the true fashionista out there, we'll remind you that that the Vogue 100 exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, which tells the story of an entire century of style in the world's most iconic magazines, runs from now until the 22nd May – you know, if there wasn't enough fashion things here for you to sink your teeth into already...
